Description

Color: Black; Brown; Green; Orange "Sunset: The Western Magazine of Good Ideas," published by the Lane Publishing Company, November 1929. The 76-page magazine has a brown cardstock cover with the title in black at the top of the front. At the right of the center is a color illustration of a seaside home with a flower-filled garden. Along the left of this are titles to some of the contents found within. At the bottom is the name of the publisher. At the beginning of the inside is a table of contents. The issue includes short stories and articles on brick homes; English furnishings in the home; reconfiguring the kitchen; tulips; travels in Latin America; carving turkey and chicken; breakfasts; cosmetics; recipes; and more. Many black and white photographs and illustrations are included. With some creases; dented corners; some soiling; an address label on the back; some moisture damage; small stains; small tears; and overall wear, the artifact is in good condition.
