Description

Color: Blue, pink, white, yellow A table runner with embroidered floral designs, ca. 1900, believed to have been made by Lucille C. Workman [Buehler Montenegro], daughter of Joseph and Josephine Belt Workman. At the ends are open-work areas with three-pointed, tasseled ends. Next to each end are large flowers embroidered in blue, white, and yellow with yellow stems and a small white and blue sun-like design at the corners. Toward the center is an arch-like design with two sun-like sections above and below the arch and these are in white and light blue. With brown stains at the center and a corner of one end, one of the tasseled balls missing, and many creases, the object is in fair condition.
