Description
"Tejon Pass near Los Angeles on road to Bakersfield, June 21, 1924." The view is taken from a high vantage point in the hills looking down on what must be the old Grapevine road, the Ridge Route, as it passed by a ranch, consisting of a house, barn and other outbuildings, and orchards. Vast expanses of the nearby hills and mountains are also in view. The title is written in ink at the bottom margin of the front and in pencil on the reverse. Aside from some major curvature of the paper, light soiling, and some edge rubbing, there is little wear and the condition is good.
