Description

A telegram from Perry Worden in Boston, Massachusetts to Walter P. Temple in Los Angeles, California, 14 May 1926. In the 13 page Western Union telegram, Worden states that his efforts have secured Agnes, Temple's daughter, a spot in the "two very best" college preparatory schools in Massachusetts in hopes that she will eventually attend Wellesley College. Worden recommends Walnut Hill School. He also speaks on his efforts to get Temple's sons into good Massachusetts schools. He mentions that he has not learned more about a supposed Mayflower ship which sailed from Boston in 1673. With major tears along some pages, major embrittlement, major discoloration, dog eared corners, and edge wear, the object is in poor condition overall.
