Color: Blue; Orange; White
"Tell Me Why (I'd Like To Know The Reason Why)," a piece of sheet music with lyrics by Richard Coburn and composed by Vincent Rose and issued by Jerome H. Remick & Co., 1920. The cover has a background of alternating orange and white vertical lines. At the top is a white-bordered box with a blue background, in which is the title. To the right under this is the word "SONG" and the names of the lyricist and composer. At the center is a white-bordered circle with a blue background. Flanking and overlapping the circle are images of a man, at left, wearing a black suit, white shirt, and black tie and, at right, a woman, with a blue dress with white collar. At the bottom is the publisher's name and locales. The arrangement consists of the inside of the cover and a two-page pull-out sheet. On the back cover is a sample, with an ornate blue border with grapes and leaves of the song "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles." In fair condition, the sheet is torn at the middle fold; there are two tears at the upper right edge on all pages; there are liquid stains and surface soiling and some creases.
