Description

Color: Black; white A reproduction photograph of the Temple adobe, Rancho La Merced, ca. 1860. The one-story L-shaped adobe is at center with a palm tree in front of it. Also in the foreground is a picket fence and a man in dark clothing and light-colored hat stands next to the fence. At the left and in the background are some other trees. On the back of the photo is the stamp of Thomas W. Temple and his San Gabriel address, so it assumed that this reproduction was done after 1950. The image is faded, but it is assumed this is because of the condition of the original. In good condition, the object has some creases and light discoloration. Number-Units: 1
