TEMPLE AND DUPUY FAMILIES, DUPUY HOUSE, ALHAMBRA, CA. 1928
Color: Black and white
A black and white reproduction photograph, made in 1928, of the Temple and Dupuy families at the Dupuy residence in Alhambra, ca. 1928. The group is standing at the front door of the home, which is not seen in much detail because of the close-up view of the photographer. Standing in the front row from left to right are Mrs. Dupuy, Sylvester Dupuy, her husband, Maud Romero Bassity, and Walter P. Temple. Behind them, from left to right, are Agnes Temple, an unknown man, Marie Dupuy, and Frank Romero. The men are wearing suits and ties and the women dresses, with Maud Bassity sporting a fur and cloche hat low over the face. Walter P. Temple and Sylvester Dupuy were long-time friends, with the latter treasurer of the former's Temple Townsite Company. The photograph is in mint condition.
