Description

Color: Black; Green; White A brochure on Temple City, 1948. The artifact has the city name in a white panel at the upper center of the front panel and there are several photographs of people and areas within the city. These views are shown again when the document is opened once to show three inner panels and the photos have captions explaining what they are. The reverse of these panels contains the front and back cover with the latter having some facts on the community continuing from the third or left reverse panel. Information includes climate, population, tax rates, business, home ownership, location, county services, and other items. When fully opened there is a map of the community (Temple City was not incorporated until 1960) with a street index. Aside from a tear at the end of one fold, light browning, and light surface soiling, there is little wear or damage to the object, which is in good condition.
