Color: Black; White
A real photo postcard of the intersection of Las Tunas Blvd. and Temple City Blvd., Temple City, ca. 1945. The photographer stood on the southwest corner, so that Las Tunas runs across most of the photo, with a small section of Temple City Blvd. at the right, where there is a crosswalk. A car and truck are waiting at a red light and other vehicles are parked on the street. A pedestrian waits to cross at the right. Some commercial buildings, street laps, landscaping, and, in the background, a snow-covered Mt. Baldy are also notable features. A small section of the 1925 Temple National Bank building is at the far left. On the bottom is an inscription printed with the photograph and which reads "Temple City, California, Mt. Baldy in background." On the reverse, is a message and address, as well as an one-cent stamp, a cancellation stamp, and a postmark (with the year faded out.) With corner abrasions;, some creases; light soiling; slight yellowing; and a tear at the bottom right corner, the artifact is in good overall condition.Lexicon
