Description
TEMPLE FAMILY MEMBERS AND LAWRENCE LEWIS IN LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD
Color: Black; White
A negative of Walter P. Temple, his children Thomas and Agnes, and Major Lawrence F. Lewis of Golden State Military Academy between the fountain and the eastern end of the courtyard of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1928. The photographer stood next to the fountain and the four are posed on the flagstone walkway leading to the eastern end of the courtyard. From left to right are Thomas, Agnes, and Walter Temple, and Major Lewis, who is in his uniform. Portions of the portico and the enclosed patio on the second floor are behind the group. The Temple men wear suits with ties and Agnes has a calf-length dress and a beret. The negative appears to have little wear or damage and is determined to be in good condition.
