Color: Black; White
A black and white reproduction photograph of the Temple oil lease, Montebello Hills, ca. 1920. This is a copy of the original and the background of the copy work can be seen. In the image are several oil wells, one at foreground left next to what appears to be an end of the Basye Adobe; and several in the background, both in the flatlands and the hills. A power pole is just right of center in the foreground. Trees and other landscaping is visible in the foreground, as are the Montebello Hills in the background. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
