A real photo postcard of the Temple Pharmacy and Hardware building, Temple City, R. Thornton Smith, ca. 1924. Taken from the roof of a structure across Las Tunas Drive (then Main Street), the image shows most of the southern elevation of the commercial edifice, with people on the sidewalk and next to the building, some parked cars and, to the top right a small section of Sunset Avenue (Temple City Boulevard). A title at the lower right is "Looking North, Temple Cal." A message on the reverse is from 1935, but the card was produced about a decade earlier. With warping, some silvering, the upper right corner creased, browning and soiling, the condition is good overall.
