98.29.2.2Description
Color: Brown
A wooden tennis racket press, ca. 1920s. The two-part triangular shaped item is of plain wood with fasteners at the four corners consisting of a bolt, washer, and wing nut. There are no other identifying features, unless a maker's mark is on the inside, but, because item .3, the tennis racket cover, is adhered to the press, it is not possible at this time to see the inside of the press. With overall surface soiling; stains; scratches; and some chips the press is in fair condition.Lexicon
