Color: Blue; Brown; White
A color polaroid photograph of the adobe wall on the front porch of the Tepee, under restoration, taken July 1979 by restoration architect Raymond Girvigian. The wall spans from left to right with many of the bricks stripped of their plaster, revealing their brown color and the mortar between them. It appears that the top row of bricks have just been replastered before the work progresses to the others. At the far left side of the porch are stacks of pavers for the restoration of the walkway leading from the Tepee to La Casa Nueva. At upper right is part of the wall and triptych window at the east side of the structure. These appear to be replastered and painted. In the foreground is a dirt area where landscaping was to be added and a small section of the walkway is at lower left. An ink inscription on the upper reverse by Girvigian reads "Teepee porch adobe-brick / walls prior to restoration / July 1979 by archt." Below this at center is a stamp with Girvigian's name, business address and telephone number, covered over with a piece of scotch tape. There is little or no indication of wear or damage, so the artifact is in good condition.
