Description

Color: Blue; Brown; White A color polaroid photograph of a detail of the adobe wall on the front porch of the Tepee, under restoration, taken July 1979. At focus is a tool resting on the northern end of the wall, used to smooth out plaster applied to the round adobe bricks of the wall. The top row of bricks are plastered, but the lower levels are still stripped in preparation for plastering. In the background upper right is part of the wall of the Tepee, with a ladder next to it and, at left, some scaffolding. Though there is no inscription as in the preceding images, it is assumed the work was done about July 1979, when other images of the same wall were taken by Girvigian. There is some surface soiling on the reverse, but the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
