Description

Color: Brown; White A color polaroid photograph of the upper west side, near the chimney, of the exterior of the Tepee, under restoration taken July 1979 by restoration architect Raymond Girvigian. At the upper left is the plastered section of the chimney emanating from the roof of the building. The roof, covered in restoration-era paper material and chicken wire is covered in plastic to protect against the elements. This view shows the building just prior to replastering over the paper and wire. At left in the background is a portion of La Casa Nueva. An ink inscription on the upper reverse by Girvigian reads "Teepee / upper roof cone / at chimney / prior to replastering / photo by archt 2/79." Below this at center is a stamp with Girvigian's name, business address and telephone number, covered over with a piece of scotch tape. There is little or no indication of wear or damage, so the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
