THANKSGIVING PLACE CARD FOR LUIS FATJO FROM DUPUY PARTY, CA. 1928
Color: Black; Blue; Red; White; Yellow
A place card for Luis P. Fatjo from a Dupuy family Thanksgiving dinner, ca. 1928. The front of the card has a color image of young girl, woman, or angel, with a headdress and long train, and she is holding a multicolored bouquet of flowers or something perhaps more abstract. Her body is yellow and she has blue eyes, red lips, and rosy cheeks. At the bottom is space for the occupant's name and written in pencil is "Luis." On the reverse are the signatures of Fatjo and three other persons, including Marie Dupuy, daughter of the hosts, Lolita Judge, and another person whose first name is Wallie, but the last name of which is not clear, because of abrasions and surface losses on the paper. With this damage, surface soiling, stains, and browning, the condition is fair.Lexicon
