Description

"The Architectural Digest," Volume VII, Number 3, 1929, published by John C. Brasfield, Los Angeles. The item features such structures as the Bullock's Wilshire department store; the Richfield Oil Building in downtown Los Angeles; the Town House luxury apartment building near Westlake (MacArthur) Park; the Beverly-Wilshire Hotel; the Villa Riviera Apartments in Long Beach; the Catalina Casino on Santa Catalina Island; the Hotel Agua Caliente in Tijuana, Mexico; the Title Insurance and Guarantee Building and Loan Association buildings in downtown Los Angeles; the B'Nai B'Rith temple in Los Angeles; the Biltmore Hotel addition in downtown Los Angeles; Los Angeles County General Hospital; and Los Angeles City Hall, among many others. In addition to many photo illustrations, there are a great deal of industry ads. With the wrappers separated and with tears, much edge wear and soiling, while pages are clean, the condition is fair.
