The work consists of thirteen poems inspired by the California missions and mission era, as well as a couple dozen other works, with many accompanied by woodcut-style illustrations. There is also a pasted-down photo of the author at the front. With warped cloth on the boards, which also have a few stains and edge rubbing, but clean pages, the condition is fair.
