Description

The Biltmore Hotel from Pershing Square, F. Boyd Morrison, 1925. The image is taken from a brick lined walkway within the park and looks northwest toward the hotel with its three towers. Some persons walk by a palm tree and a stone wall at the lower right. On the reverse is an ink inscription: "Biltmore Hotel / Pershing Sq." Boyd, a road scout for the American Automobile Association, was on a 37,000-mile trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With fading or poor exposure from the negative and some soiling and stains, the condition is fair.
