Description
The black and white lantern slide "Down the Chimney St. Nicholas Came with a Bound," published by T.H. McAllister, New York, ca. 1900s. The image appears to be part of a series based on "The Night Before Christmas" by Clement Moore and shows Santa clambering atop a snow-covered chimney from his sleigh, while the reindeer stand on the rooftop. The caption is typed and pasted down on the right margin, while McAllister's name and address are on the reverse margins. With abrasions and light soiling, the condition is good.
