Description
The black and white photograph shows a two-story, Craftsman home and front yard, possibly the Temple family's home in Alhambra, ca. 1910s. In view is the front of the two-story craftsman home, plants, trees and other shrubbery. At the forefront, just behind a Sycamore tree at the forefront of the home is what appears to be a wooden trellis with hanging bundles of foliage along the top of the structure. At the far right is a low wall and another home across the way. A photo in the collection (#2016.24.2.64) shows an almost identical home to the one pictured in this image, and is possibly the Temple family home in Alhambra, purchased in November of 1917 and sold in 1923. With moderate fading, minor warping, and "77" written in pencil on the reverse, it is in good to fair condition.
