Bardswell (London: John Lane the Bodley Head Limited, 1923), 105 pp. The book has a light green hardcover with the title and author's name within a square box at the center of the front. At the beginning of the inside are a title page, table of contents, and a list of illustrations. There are sixteen chapters that cover such subjects as town gardening; window boxes; balcony gardening; plants for the city; gardening for beginners; foliage plants; fog and flowers; small suburban gardens; grass, ground, or gravel; ferns and wild flowers; climbers; rock and wall gardening; and more. At the end is an index. Many black and white illustrations are included. With abrasions, dented corners, and a musty smell, the object is in good condition overall.
