Description

"The Calendar of California," published by M. Kashower, Los Angeles, 1928. The front cover has a pastoral image of a river, orchards (probably oranges) and snow-capped mountains, with several poppies and a poinsettia flower around the title and year. Each page has two months, a four-line stanza of a poem by Betty Law, and images of the state, including beaches, parks, mountains, the Mt. Lowe Railway and more. The pages are held by a thin rope-like string at the top. With soiling, small stains, rubbing and creases, the overall condition is good.
