Description

"The California Gold Diggers," words by Jesse Hutchinson, Jr. and music by Nathan Barker, published by Springfield, Sarles & Adey, Philadelphia, 1849. The arrangement includes the first stanza and chorus and there are four other stanzas printed at the end. The lyrics, naturally, concern gold miners heading to California and their expectations of success. With the lower half of the spine separated, and soiling, minor foxing, edge discoloration and spine tears, the condition is fair.
