Book: "The Cave Girl" by Edgar Rice Burroughs (New York: Grosset and Dunlap, 1925), 323 pp. An adventure novel about a stranded traveler on a South Sea island who encounters cave people. The cover is red with text in black ink and no dustjacket. The book is in fair condition with creases on the spine, dents on the cover corners, discoloration on page edges, surface soiling, and wear on the top and bottom of the spine. Purchased from Ava Kelley. On the inside front page in pencil at the top, "8-60 1st ED 3.95"; at the bottom of the front page written upside down in pencil is "1935/1876/59" and "1935/1871/64"--these evidently were equations to determine ages.Lexicon
