Description
The "Class of January 14" for the Scottish Rite masonsic fraternity in Los Angeles, 1928. The large format image has twelve rows of headshots of new members with a masonic symbol and two larger portraits of men, banker, lawyer and judge William Rhodes Hervey and banker Perry Weidner assumed to be lodge leaders at the center. The reference to the date and class is at the bottom as is the identification of the photographer, Murrillo Studio and the arranging and framing of the portraits by Green's Art Store. With many edge tears, not affecting the portraits, edge rubbing, torn paper from adhesive and a punctured area at the lower left, the overall condition is fair.
