Description
"The Codes and Statutes of the State of California, Volume 1," Theodore H. Hittell (San Francisco: A.L. Bancroft & Co.,) 1876. In addition to the political and civil codes of the state, there are also the Declaration of Independence; the U.S. Constitution; the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo; proclamations to the people of California; the California Constitution; the Act of Admission for California; authentication of public acts; and naturalization laws. With the front board nearly detached, the back board loose at the top, much other cover wear, including the lower portion of the spine separating, and some page staining, though most pages are generally clean, the overall condition is fair.
