Description
A press photo of the coroner's inquest for the San Francis dam disaster, 21 March 1928. At the center is William Mulholland, the chief of the Los Angeles bureau of water and power, questioned by Coroner Frank Nance sitting at the bench. Several men sit on the side as observers. A copy of the newspaper article in which this photo appears is pasted on the reverse. There are several pinholes in the photograph with minor creases throughout, but in general it is in good condition.
