2010.432.1.1Description
A souvenir program for the play "The Desert Song," June 1928. The Lillian Albertson-produced operetta was performed at the Majestic Theatre in Los Angeles and the program contains the cast, scene synopsis, musical program, detailed essays on the play, poems, photos of actors and scenes, reviews, biographies of the producer, playwrights, and composers, including Oscar Hammerstein 2d. With slight edge rubbing, a few creases and a shadow left from a tipped-in theater program (item .2 of the accession), the condition is good.
