Description

Color: Yellow "The Easy Housekeeping Book", by Winnifred S. Fales (Boston: Small, Maynard & Company, 1923), 211 pp. A hardcover book with a mustard colored fabric cover and cream-colored labels with brown ink listing the title on the front and spine. The book, which has some illustrations, diagrams and photographs, includes information on how to properly and economically run your household. On the endpaper, inside the front cover, in pencil reads "Ref 3/7-"; along the spine at the bottom in pencil reads "2/15/93"; and there are pencil marks along the first paragraph on page 1 and pencil marks on pages 9-12 highlighting portions of text. The book is in fair condition, mainly because of the cover, which has fairly extensive surface soiling on the cover and title label and scratches on the spine label as well as soiling and wear to the spine edges. The pages are fine, except for some light discoloration, though the binding is showing signs of loosening.
