Description

Color: Black; White "The Etude," January 1928 issue, published by the Theodore Presser Co. of Philadelphia. The front cover is missing and the contents include some forty listed items on everything from items on technique and instructions for performance, to sections on particular instruments to the lives of famous composers, to music in other parts of the world to reviews of books on music. There are also reproductions of scores for pieces of music, divided into categories, such as "Fascinating Pieces for the Musical Home;" "Classic, Modern, and Contemporary Master Works;" "Outstanding Vocal and Instrumental Novelties;" and "Delightful Pieces for Junior Etude Readers." Many black and white photographs and drawings, as well as many advertisements are also included. Aside from the missing cover, the artifact has dents at the corners, light soiling, yellowing of the paper, stains on the first and last pages, and some small tears, and so is in fair condition.
