The fifth part, "The Great Southwest" of the six-part "Los Angeles Times Midwinter Number," 2 January 1930. This portion of the booster promotional series highlighting the city and region has articles relating to real estate and small sketches of regional cities, towns and communities, as well as longer pieces on neighboring counties from Riverside to Fresno. There are also many local area advertisements. With tears, folds, fragility, soiling, creases, and flaking, the overall condition is poor to fair.
