Description

Color: Black; Blue; Green; Red; White "The Fifty Two Sunday Dinners," published by Woman's World Magazine Co., Inc., Chicago, 1927. The front cover of the item has an image of two girls with meal preparation utensils in front of a blue tiled wall. Toward the bottom is the title and publisher's name and location. An introduction by the publisher is followed by essays on making Sunday dinner the easiest meal of the week and on following a time table in preparation and then by listings by month and week. At the end are hints of combining dinner items, additional recipes, table silver and its use and an index. There are some illustrations of dinner items and silhouetted drawings of women preparing food. With rubbing to corners and the back cover's left edge, acid burns to the inside cover and page edges, spine bulging, soiling, page browning, fading on the cover, some silverfish damage to the cover, scratches at the front left edge, and stains on the cover and on page 46, the overall condition is fair.
