Description
The front entrance to El Campo Santo Cemetery, ca. 1921. The view is from the south end of what became the heart-shaped planter outside the cemetery and there are piles of dirt and other evidence that indicates the planter was in construction. Most of the original west wall of the cemetery is in view as is the upper half of the west and south elevations of the mausoleum, which appears completed. In the distance left is part of Puente Hill. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
