Description

The front entrance to El Campo Santo Cemetery from the heart-shaped planter, ca. 1921. The view is from the west end of what became the heart-shaped planter outside the cemetery and the palm tree said to have been planted by William Workman stands at the opposite side of the planter. Most of the original west wall of the cemetery is in view as is the upper half of the front (west) elevation of the mausoleum, which appears completed. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
