With the subtitles of "Souvenir" and "Primitive Years in California," the item has historical information about the naming of California, the missions, some information on Mexican-era California, the American conquest, Los Angeles, and the 1842 (given here as 1843) discovery of gold near Los Angeles. There are some photographs as illustrations With light soiling and minor edge wear on the wrappers, clean pages and only slight separation from one binding staple on some pages, the condition is good.
