Description
A real photo postcard, "The Goldwyn Studios, Largest in the World, Culver City, California," 1920s. The aerial view is from the southwest with Culver Boulevard at the bottom and Washington Boulevard at the top of the large pie-shaped property with Overland Drive now at the lower left as the western boundary. The image shows administration buildings, indoor stages and the backlot for outdoor filming, as well as other elements, of what became MGM and is now Sony Studios. Surrounding areas include some open land as well as houses and streets. The postally unused card has minor soiling and browning and is in good condition.
