"The Graduate School Days," Manual Arts High School scrapbook, Los Angeles, 1916-1917. This scrapbook belonged to Helen Pierce a senior at the above high school in 1917. It documents her last year of high school with photographs, statements from classmates and faculty, clippings, dance cards, event programs, invitations and loose commencement ephemera in the back. Also includes loose items such as two ribbons for legislative general reunion dated 5 May 1886. The book is leather bound with a gold embosssed design and in overall good condition. The cover is extremely brittle and flaky with a craked spine.
