Description

THE HOMESTEAD SITE FROM THE NORTH DRIVEWAY, CA. 1925. A black and white reproduction photograph of the Homestead site from the north driveway, ca. 1925. The Workman House is seen at left (with the top of the Water Tower visible over the roof) and La Casa Nueva at right. The latter is seen under construction with scaffold along the north elevation and the master bedroom balcony being built. The landscaping along the drive shows small palm trees, what appear to be fruit trees, and small shrubs and bushes. There is a pole just left of center, but no wires visible. From a negative owned by Ruth Ann Michaelis. Number-Units: 1
