Description

The interior of a Los Angeles store, Ballay and Ijames, ca. 1910. The image shows a man standing behind glass cases at the right and a man and a young boy in a suit at the rear. In addition to the products in the cases, there are rows of shelves against both walls loaded with cans and boxesm with some items on the floor. There are advertising cards and such for Kellogg's Corn Flakes, baking powder, cigars and other products displayed throughout. The photographer's stamp is on the reverse. With a large crease at the upper right, edge rubbing and chipping on the matte, as well as one stain at the lower edge of the image, the overall condition is good.
