Description

The Jonathan Club building, Los Angeles, by Keystone Photo Service, 23 December 1925. The image is taken from an upper floor of a catty-corner structure and shows the structure, which has a six-story main block and two five-story towers at the northern and southern ends. Located at 545 South Figueroa, the edifice, designed by Schultze and Weaver, opened in 1924. On the reverse is the studio stamp and a pencil inscription partially covered by album paper residue and which gives the date. With some yellowing, minor soiling and a small amount of edge rubbing, the condition is good overall.
