The lake at Eastlake Park, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The amateur view is from the shoreline and captures a portion of the body of water, in which there are some items, perhaps rowboats. At left is a bench by the shore and, in the distance, amidst a grove of trees is a bridge. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads "East L Park LA." The park is now Lincoln Park in the Lincoln Heights community. With a chunk of the matte missing at left, soiling, edge rubbing and a few stains on the reverse, the overall condition is fair.
