Description

"The Land of Sunshine," Vol. IV, No. 3 (February 1896), published by Land of Sunshine Publishing Co., Los Angeles. The magazine contains articles on the history of southern California, travel articles, fiction and poetry, and others. Of note is an article on race and climate, another on European prototypes for proposed architectural styles in the Southwest by Arthur Benton, and there is a photography page on the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. There are illustrations and many area-related advertisements. With much over wear and damage and some tape repair on the wrappers, and upper right corners creased on generally clean pages, the overall condition is poor.
