Description

The Los Angeles Examiner building, Los Angeles, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. Taken from across a street a block or so away, the image captures much of the Spanish Colonial Revival newspaper headquarters, including a square central tower and projecting wings all with tiled roofs. In the foreground is a parking lot and autos parked along the street, while in the distance is a large multi-story building. An ink inscription on the reverse reads "Examiner Bldg." Boyd, road scout for the American Automobile Association, was on a 37,000-mile trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With some light soiling and a crease or two, the condition is good overall.
