"The Los Angeles Referee," Vol. IX, No. 29, 12 June 1926. A weekly publication dedicated to sports and amusement news. The publication is printed in a newspaper format and consists of fourteen pages of content. The front cover features a sporting review with illustrations of several sports and amusement activities such as bowling, theatricals, motion pictures, wrestling, auto racing and more. It also advertises the magazine as the official boxing publication for the fight clubs. Stories features the defeat of Mickey Walker by Pete Latzo, Jack Dempsey, fight schedules, advertisements. Accompanied by photographs of boxers. The item is in poor condition, back cover is completely detached, three staples along the left edge, front cover is tearing at the staples, edges are soft and creased.
