Description

The Los Angeles Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company band, ca. 1920s. The group of about forty uniformed musicians and a few other persons are gathered in front of an old Victorian-era wooden building, the location of which is not known. The company, which built large ships, such as those used by the military, was located in the Wilmington/San Pedro area, but it is not known if this is the location. With many creases, edge rubbing and some soiling, the overall condition is fair.
