A photograph of "The Los Angeles Times Pan American Special" train, 1901. The image shows three men at right standing next to a traincar, on which is some patriotic decorations and a long banner with the title on it. It is presumed the reference is to an excursion, but there are no identifying marks or inscriptions. With residue from album paper on the reverse and some very light soiling, the condition is good.
