Entry/Object ID
2013.120.1.1
Description
"The Map Folio" for "The Petroleum Industry in California," Bulletin 69 of the California Mining Bureau, 1914. The item has eighteen large plates, including images of fossils, geologic maps, oil field maps, and drawings of machinery as a supplement to the comprehensive report on the industry. A couple of the maps show the Los Angeles and Orange county areas, including the Los Angeles and Fullerton fields. The wrappers are badly soiled, torn, creased and worn and one of the maps is separated into two pages, while others are creased and soiled, so the overall condition is poor.
