Description
"The Medical Record," Vol. 30, No. 18 (30 October 1886). The item contains an article, "Notes on the Climatic and Sanitary Conditions of Southern California," by W. M. Chamberlain, which is a good description of the region generally in the period known as the Boom of the Eighties. With edge browning, a taped spine, and a tear at the right margin that includes some pages, the general condition is fair.
